Digital Skills Trainings
The Talent Pass project conducted its first round of Digital Skills training from May 7 to May 15, 2026. This training consisted of three modules, each lasting two days, and was delivered in both online and hybrid formats, with on-site sessions held at UNISMART in Padova, Italy. The training needs analysis, completed by 234 staff members from the widening partners, identified digital skills as a priority alongside project management. The three modules covered topics ranging from data foundations and artificial intelligence to broader digital capabilities that support sustainable competitiveness.
7 and 8 May 2026 | Basic Data Analysis and Dashboarding for Sustainability Metrics and Ecodesign
Juraj Dončević guided 67 participants through the importance of data in sustainability work, covering topics from relational database design and data warehousing to querying, visualisation, and dashboard building in Metabase, with independent projects assigned after each day.
12 and 13 May 2026 | Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Circular Economy
Stefano Marchesin guided 69 participants in computational modeling of complex systems, machine learning for decision support, generative AI in professional workflows, and the interpretation, validation, and robustness of AI outputs.
14 and 15 May 2026 | Advanced Digital Skills for Sustainable Competitiveness
Pier Paolo Tricomiconcluded the round with 65 participants, focusing on blockchain for tracking circular economies and Digital Product Passports, as well as AI and industrial metaverse applications for sustainability, and cybersecurity measures to protect research data and intellectual property.
